its challenges
but boy,
did i manage to overcome
it with some very
out-of-the-box
thinking!
lemme describe the
problems briefly

PROBLEMS:

1. i wanted to change,
ya know, the basic stuff,
like the header,
the weird, generic stuff
that always comes with a new blogskin..
well.....
things got a little more troublesome
when i decided i wanted to change the
pictures that allowed users to navigate..
i had to find and make my own thumbnails!

however, the stuff to come
will totally blow you mind!
(not kidding)

2. notice the cool sparks in the background?
they did not come easy.
well...got them done!
it was the inspiration for the cool neon
navigation tiles i chose.

3. CRAZY HARD PART: i wanted to add "older posts" and "newer posts"
buttons, which weren't present in the orig. skin
*cue anxiety..*

4. CRAZIEST ONE OF THEM ALL: i wanted to make my posts
the first thing you see
when you come to my humble abode.
before, you would see this little
(and useless) page
telling computer-illiterate
users to navigate the page with those
cute little pictures of mine..
i wanted to delete that...
and MY....was that SO HARD.
no little, nitty, gritty
DETAILS here.
but...i think i might take a course in computer-speak!
NOT.

thus, knowing the tired eyes, headaches, and sore necks
that it took to get this new skin up-and-running (in about 5hrs, no less),

yesterday (어제), i went to cass and isa's house before heading off to SaLT with them (the reason i shorten their names is due to laziness, not to familiarity[?])
anyway, we were bored, so we watched this random show on disney (디스니 XD) called
SHAKE IT UP
oh yeah!

dont be fooled by the disney tagline, cause it's a pretty cool show!!

their characters are hilarious and the plot is easy to follow:P

SORRY FOR THE OVERLY LARGE THING AT THE TOP. I COULDNT CONTROL ITS SIZE.
NEW BEGINNINGS! (sort of)
felt like a change was needed to spruce up this boring ol' blog of mine.
besides, because of my astounding and definitely recurring laziness, this blog has been dead (pardon the ugly word) for at least a year. i think.
writing has always been something that i like, though regularly updating a blog for suspiciously anonymous anybodies has always been a scary thought. or maybe it's just my laziness.
well, LIFE HAS BEEN KIND TO ME. (Praise the Lord!:D)
sch has been fine i guess, though sometimes my crippling shyness make it unbearable. the weather's been an absolute darling i suppose, with only mild bouts of heat or cold fronts.
AND i cant wait to be going back to Singapore!
flight's on the 7th of Dec, i'l be waiting for my convoy then!

[on a side note: sometimes i ever wonder why i bother writing in a blog. looking at the blogs of others, i dismiss theirs as random, pathetic tries at connecting with a non-existent audience. funny how things work out eh? now i've become one of those sad people who sit at computers and try a weak stab at humour. yeah, that's me.]

i..... saw...... the poor guy's INSIDES!!!!!!!!!!!!! what i mean is.....
cause they have to open the persons stomach area to put the healthy liver in, so there was this shot of the guy's body parts. meaning:intestines,stomach...that kind of thing.... you people should have seen it.....IT WAS SO SHOCKING/DISGUSTING/INTERESTING!!

hello....today's saturday and i have just come home from marsiling sec....what was i doing there? well, i was there for an invitational scrabble by marsiling and the event lasted from 7:30am to about 12:30pm....i played 3 games and won 2.... the first two were against marsiling sec and it was really difficult!! but the last game was really easy and i won by 200+ points......the whole event DRAINED my energy....! glad im using the comp today...WHEW!

i haven't been writing for a while and i feel terribly guilty..... so sorry guys/gals, anyway something happened on tuesday night!!!!!..............................................................................................................a bat came to visit!! yes, a BAT! although it scared me that there was a bat in my parents room, it was kinda exciting at the same time... it shited all over the room, even the bathroom!! arghh... worst is, my mum picked it up with her bare hands!! unbelievable! anyway, update on my private life: i just ate miso soup noodle for lunch....tasted very miso-y....hahaha!!

this is for the e-lit essay about prejudice. mrs chan said that there were 4 kinds of prejudice in the story, but she only told us 3. and they were prejudice against girls, stepchildren and adeline...
i managed to figure out the last one and it is....... prejudice against CHINESE!!!

yesterday was supposed to be one of the most memorable days of my life as i was involved in this project with 30,000 or so youths. it's called connect singapore and we were supposed to link hands and then recite the pledge with the president...
turns out that we missed it.....!!! grrr...
but anyway, i went to expo with lydia for borders book and movie sale and bought some stuff...then, we went to the boreds at wheelock place and bought some more stuff........

hi....im back!!! anyway, saturday was a really busy day for me!!!!!! there were feelings of happiness and sadness, hatred and admiraton! well......i went to the national youth scrabble competition!!!! man, was it fun!!! we played 5 games in total, the first and second were against serangoon gardens sec....the 3rd was against bukit panjang govt. sec.....the 4th against nan chiau sec!! and lastly the 5th game was against marsiling sec!!!
i won the first four but lost against marsilling.. they were simply too strong!

then i went for money no enough 2 PREMIERE!!!
