this is so pretty! a little long, but, you get the gist..


a chic & simple dress!

it's actually for, ahem, curvy people, but i want a beautiful, non-fussy dress that i can wear to the city. i.e. chic and 'convenient'

HEY GUYS:D
it was state high's CREATE art festival yesterday night
and my sister (brightlydull) and i decided to take a trip into the city for a quick shop
before the event started at 6/6.30pm :)

basically, we bought stuff!


first up, A COOL BATWING/MAROON TOP from VALLEYGIRL!


[excuse me for the ugly backgroundD:]

i tried it on last night after i came home,
and i could pair it with a black loose-ish skirt,
a summery dress, a tight bandage skirt and denim shorts!
so the options are pretty much endless^^
it's very versatile and i love how it's longer at the back and shorter at the front which looks great!
i'll post a pic up of me when im free!


the next thing i got were these AMAZING EARRINGS from LOVISA


only $5! haha, it was pretty cheap:D
and i love the geometric shapes and colours!
of course, my sister bought a set too.
hers are gold-ish and tribal-looking.



these are another set i bought; blue feathers!
LOVE.
i try not to buy hanging earrings, but i couldnt resist for this one
cause im not really the kind to wear them
but for this pair i was like "TWO DOLLARS?! i'll buy it for decoration!"
haha, they're pretty:)


ON A SAD NOTE:
i lost my beautiful peacock necklace at valleygirl:(
left it in the changing room when i went to try on the maroon top
BOO HOO.

personally, i dont think im made out for this,
cause i totally felt like i was rambling when trying to describe the stuffs i bought.

hahas, anyway, the point of this post is to say:


I NEED SHEER TIGHTS.


that's right, i just made a materialistic statement.
well, currently, i have these opaque black tights
that i DO NOT wear
cause they accentuate the curviness and shapeliness of my legs,
which i do not like.
even though every website and magazine's like:
"ooh, black is slimming!"
"wear black tights to make you legs look longer and leaner!",
i just feel like it DOESNT.
like all it does is create this dark shadow of your "legs",
(well, i have unshapely ones, so...)
whereas sheer tights/pantyhose (ew) leave a shadow
at the sides of your legs and make your legs look thinner.
or something.
im not sure if im explaining this right...

anyway, there's this horrible, horrible picture i took of me
with those tights, but im not gonna post it up cause,

A. i look horrible in them. need i say more?
B. im too lazy to find the pic anyway, so...

my sister's (brightlydull) are so meticulously designed and KEPT UP that i shame the blogosphere i reside in.

haha, if you even wanna go so far as to compare the NUMBER
of tumblr posts i have per month to say, ANYONE ELSE,
it becomes pretty obvious that i do not contribute much to the
